Formation

The Diocese is active in supporting the ongoing formation of the faithful in supporting the mission of the church: to proclaim the Gospel of Christ in Galloway. To support the faithful in personal and community formation, a variety of offices exist with particular focuses.

Adult Education

Click to access resources from our Diocesan Adult Formation group. These resources are provided for individual and parish study to support groups in growing in their faith.

Youth

Our Diocesan Youth Office exists to support young people in growing in faith and friendship with each other and with Christ. Two tracks are provided to support young people from First Communion onwards: Youth for children in P5 – S4, and Young Adults for those in S5 – age 30. Pro-Life Office

The Diocesan Pro-Life Office organises events and provides resources to support the faithful in understanding the challenges to life today, from conception through to death, through arranging events and the development of resources.
