Following the Provincial Council Meeting of the Spiritans, the following clergy changes affecting the Diocese have been announced:

Fr Gabriel Onoyima, CSSp, currently Parish Priest of St Sophia’s, Galston and St Paul’s, Hurlford, will leave the Diocese to take up an appointment in the Diocese of Southwark, London.

Fr Erasmus Egenonu, CSSp, currently ministering in the Archdiocese of Liverpool, will join the Diocese having been appointed Parish Priest of St Sophia’s, Galston, and St Paul’s, Hurlford.

These changes will take effect on 1st October 2025.

We wish Fr Gabriel well in his new appointment and thank him for his faithful service and ministry in the Diocese and welcome Fr Erasmus to Galloway.
